InnovaTAX has relocated to Trout Creek, Ontario in Novemer 2017.  However, we can still service all of our clients, whether they live in the Orillia area, or anywhere else, for that matter.  We continue to value your business and provide the best service possible.

Last year, our personal (T1) income tax fees changed.  While we have retained our maximum basic fee of $69.99, some changes have been made to the fee structure.  Changes have been made to the Loyalty rate factors to allow greater fee reductions over fewer years.  Also, a new rate factor, Paperless Filer, has been added, which allows the client further savings by accepting a .pdf file in place of paper documents.  This also allows the client and InnovaTAX to reduce their carbon footprint.

While we have been in business for over four years, our experience didn't start there.  InnovaTAX's proprietor, John R. Middleton, has been filing his own paper returns since 1987.  In 2003, he started filing returns for friends and family both by paper and electronic means, in order to build even more experience prior to getting into business.  Mr. Middleton is a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, where he has accumulated over 21 years of service.  He has served over 15 of those years a Resource Managment Support Clerk and a Financial Services Administrator, where he works in financial and human resources roles including accounting, payroll, claims and benefits administration and records management.

In 2014, John completed the Payroll Compliance Practitioner program through the Canadian Payroll Association and in 2015, he graduated from Georgian College's Bookkeeping program, with honours.  More recently, he completed the Business Administration Accounting program at Georgian College in Barrie, with honours.  He is currently working towards a Bachelor of Business Administration at Nipissing University, in North Bay, Ontario.
